Harry Stands By Himself!!!! More than Once!!!!

I have had a number of other posts planned (about Mother's Day and Harry's developing sense of humor) but recently things have been a little insane. In the meantime, our little boy has made a developmental leap - he stood by himself yesterday. Whilst he has stood before, this is the first time that he did so confidently and more than once. He also lowered himself to the ground from a standing position. He was inordinately pleased with himself as was his mother. It was also really great because my grandfather - Pa - Harry's great-grandfather, was here to witness it. He is back from South Africa to visit and stopped in DC for a few days before heading to Colorado. It was exciting to be able to share this moment with him. Everyone was very proud and pleased with our babe! :-)
