Thirteen Days (Infinifilm Edition)
Rented Kevin Costner's foray into the Cuban missle crisis this past weekend. If you can see past Costner's performance, you'll see a really tight story with some spectacular filmmaking.

Regardless, this DVD includes "Infinifilm." Turning this feature on, you'll see a menu appear at the bottom of the screen as the movie's playing. The menu contains two or three context-sensitive options. For example, at the beginning, when the director's name appeared in the opening credits, there was a menu option for his entire filmography. Select any one of these options, and the DVD will go to the feature. In most cases, this is a short video: an historian talking about the Cuban missle crisis, a researcher talking about Kennedy tapes, etc.

The interface was clunky, and the transition from movie to added feature was awkward. In no way would I ever watch a movie like that... But it does take us a step in the right direction.

The "TV" in iTV refers not to the appliance, but to the medium.
