Broadcast TV about to fire a volley at ReplayTV

Replay is going to be sued shortly by the three B's, ABC, CBS, NBC because you can skip commercials and share video across the net. I can see the skipping commercials beef, as thats their revenue model, but why would you want to limit people SEEING those commercials or your programming? Heck, I'm surprised that I can't download Realplayer videos of Friends now, complete with lots of commercials I can't skip through, that conviently take me to the websites of the manufacturers...

As seen on the BBB.

PVR Built Into Home Net Platform
A company called Ucentric, which sells home networking software, is going to integrate personal video recording into its products.

The company said in a statement that its motivation for adding PRV to its platform was that it is becoming widely popular and that studies have found that the average U.S. household owns 2.5 televisions.

I find watching half a television somewhat unsatisfying. On the other hand, my .25 dog is a breeze to care for.
